Ulla Huotari

Ulla Huotari is the Portfolio Manager for the Aktia Emerging Market Local Currency Frontier Strategy. Huotari has been active in financial markets since 2000 and brings extensive experience across investment management, development finance, and banking. Before joining Aktia in 2021, she worked at Finnfund, where she developed a strong interest in frontier markets through direct engagement with financial institutions in these economies. Earlier in her career, Huotari worked in the global treasury of Kemira Plc. and held various roles in commercial banking. Her academic background includes a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Helsinki School of Economics.
