Nikhil Chouguley

Nikhil Chouguley is partner at Sustopia Capital, a sustainable finance PE, that’s investing in renewable energy, green data centres and climate related deep tech innovation (quantum, photonics, materials).

Most recently, Nikhil acted as the Global Chief Operating Officer at Citibank, where he built the Sustainable Investing division and $90 Bn of NNAs.

Over his 20 + years’ career in financial services, Nikhil has held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Financial Conduct Authority and Barclays in London.

A Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant, Nikhil has published a white paper on Carbon Markets at COP 28 and ESG risks in financial reports for EFRAG.

In addition to guest lecturing and chairing regulatory ExCos, Nikhil has founded and served on the Boards of blockchain and AI powered tech firms.
