Dr. Wei Tang

Wei Tang, Ph.D.  VP of UniDT, is a senior scientist specializing in AI+Biomedicine. He earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the State University of New York and completed postdoctoral training in Molecular Medicine at Columbia University, focusing on the mechanisms of atherosclerosis.  He subsequently transitioned to the financial sector, where he held roles in data management at Wall Street firms and served as VP of State Street Global Markets. In 2021, he joined UniDT, where he leads the development of AI-based drug discovery platform and AI-based synthetic biology engine. He oversees the research and development of small molecule drugs for neurodegenerative diseases and peptide drugs for anti-aging therapies.
