Dr. Clas Neumann

Dr. Clas Neumann is Senior Vice President and Head of Global SAP Labs Network (SLN), overseeing the management and operations of SAP labs worldwide. Under his leadership, SLN has expanded significantly and serves as the backbone of SAP’s R&D value chain. With a 30-year career at SAP, including over two decades in India and China, he has played a key role in building the organization in fast-growing markets. Dr. Neumann holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration from École des Ponts Paris Tech Business School in France, and an MBA degree from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, and Singapore. Dr. Neumann has been appointed as the Adjunct Professor of Tongji University and Dalian University of Technology. Dr. Neumann holds key positions including a member of the German-Chinese Dialogue Forum, as well as the Vice Chairman of the Board and Member of the Steering Committee of the East Asian Association (OAV). In February 2026, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany by the German President.
