Daniel Sonnenburg

Daniel Sonnenburg is Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) of Deutsche Börse Group, one of the world’s largest and leading financial market infrastructures. Having joined the company in 2018, he has extensive expertise in capital markets, financial market regulation, corporate reporting, corporate governance, and public affairs.

In his role as CSO and Chairman of the Group Sustainability Committee, he is responsible for the Group-wide sustainability strategy and advises the Executive Board. Additionally, as Chairman of the Sustainability Working Group of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), he represents the interests of all European exchange operators at the EU and international levels.
