Dr. Sebastian Schäfer

Sebastian is a behavioral economist, entrepreneur, business angel and lecturer. As Managing Director and co-founder of the Frankfurt TechQuartier, he has been driving the development of a global innovation brokerage for industry, science and politics with now 600+ startup members since 2016. Prior to that, he was head of the Startup Incubator at Goethe University. He is associated with the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations and the Frankfurt Laboratory for Experimental Economics at Goethe University, is involved as a mentor and juror, and speaks on startup event stages around the globe.

Sebastian ist Verhaltensökonom, Unternehmer, Business Angel und Dozent. Als Geschäftsführer und Mitgründer des Frankfurter TechQuartiers treibt er seit 2016 die Entwicklung eines globalen Innovationsmaklers für Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Politik mit mittlerweile über 600 Start-up-Mitgliedern voran. Zuvor war er Leiter des Startup-Inkubators an der Goethe-Universität. Er ist mit dem Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations und dem Frankfurter Labor für experimentelle Ökonomie an der Goethe-Universität assoziiert, engagiert sich als Mentor und Juror und spricht auf Startup-Event-Bühnen rund um den Globus.
