Effective January 2020, Sönke Reimers is one of the two Speakers of dfv Executive Management Board. He joined the media group as Managing Director in 2010. Sönke has the overall responsibility for the agricultural and meat industry titles, the technical trade journals, Recht und Wirtschaft (the division of law and economy), m+a international trade fair media, MICE media and dfv Corporate Media, as well as for the investment companies diruj Deutsches Institut für Rechtsabteilungen und Unternehmensjuristen, AgroBrain and Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft. He is also in charge of digital media development, corporate marketing and corporate communications in addition to the legal department. Furthermore, he is Managing Director of the subsidiaries dfv Conference Group and dfv Euro Finance Group along with the holding company ECLA Association Services. In these positions, Sönke is responsible for the majority of the event business of the dfv media group. Until his entry into dfv media group, Sönke held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Druck- und Verlagshaus Frankfurt am Main, where the Frankfurter Rundschau was published at the time. Previously, he worked from 2003 to 2005 as a consultant for various newspaper publishing houses. From 1992 to 2002 he was with Axel Springer AG, among other things as Publishing Director of the newspaper group BILD, as Deputy Publishing Director of the newspaper group WELT and as General Manager and member of the executive board for the website Bild.de. Sönke, born in Rendsburg, Germany, in 1963, studied history, business administration and economics at the Universities of Hamburg, Germany, and Brussels, Belgium.
