Harry was born in Kiel, Germany and spent his first years near Frankfurt am Main. He spent his formative years in Cairo, Egypt, where he passed the Abitur at the local German school.
He studied Computer Science (Informatik) at the TU München, where he graduated with a Diplomarbeit/Master Thesis on Distributed Artificial Intelligence based on Neural Networks.
After his graduation he went to Japan, where he lived and worked for ten years. During that time he did his PhD – in Distributed Artrificial Intelligence with a focus on Predicate Logic and Expert Systems - from the prestigious University of Tokyo. The PhD course was funded by a scholarship by the German DAAD.
He has been working in various roles in software and IT technology, from developer to CTO of a venture, and joined Daimler Mobility AG in Beijing, China, where he led various IT teams in the period from 2015 – 2018.
Since then he is leading the Blockchain Factory at Daimler Mobility AG in Stuttgart – applying Blockchain, IoT and Digital Identity Technology to the Future of Mobility.
